Tracking performance and reporting
Corporation’s activities are under more scrutiny than ever before with stakeholders expecting disclosures on business conduct, ethics and their impact expected by stakeholders. Public disclosure of non-financial responsibilities and commitments is currently a voluntary opportunity to demonstrate good corporate governance, but may become a legal requirement in the future as company law develops.
Best practice in the field is changing rapidly and those companies that do not report may see an impact on their reputation, consumer interest, regulatory and investor attitudes and staff recruitment, motivation and retention.
There are a number of guidelines and approaches that an organization can use to decide what and how to report. WSP offers advice ranging from developing the reporting strategy through to the composition and publication stages.
